C-street, listen to us!

Since its launch in September 2011, C Street Radio has emerged as one of the largest online radio stations in Hungary. Established by four young Roma men, C Street Radio gathered more than 116000 clicks in a week last March and more and more often goes beyond one hundred thousand.

C Street seems to replace Radio C, a radio station in Budapest which stopped broadcasting in the summer of 2011. Many consider C Street as the new Roma radio station. It plays Soul, Funky, R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop music and is becoming a center for Gypsy music in the heart of Budapest, and at the same time it also airs reports on political, health, employment and housing topics.
